Frequently asked questions

We are located at 206 E. Main St. in Milford, MA.

All of our donuts are priced individually. Our basics are $3.75 each and our specialty flavors are $4.00 each. Our donut holes are priced individually at .50 cents each. 

We are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Wednesday-Friday we are open from 6am-1pm. Saturday and Sunday we are open 7am-1pm. We may close earlier due to selling out. Please check our social media for daily updates. 

Currently, we do not carry gluten free donuts. In order to be 100% gluten free it would require us to have a separate fryer and a larger kitchen to ensure there is zero cross contamination. At this time we do not offer vegan donuts or pastries. 

Yes, we do our best to accommodate custom orders such as jumbo donut cakes, birthday donuts and/or other special occasion treats. The more notice we have the more likely we will be able to accommodate special requests. You can email Christina at info@basicbatchdonuts.com to inquire about your order. Someone will reach out to you via email within 48 hours to confirm. 

We accept cash, credit, debit, venmo and apple pay.

We can never predict how many donuts we need to make each day. Some days we sell out extremely early while other days we may not sell out at all. If you want to guarantee a full selection than we suggest you arrive first thing when we open. 

We make donations to various charities monthly. We receive donation requests more often than you think. We have a donation quota per month that we commit too.  All donation requests must be submitted 30 days before the event date. Due to the volume of requests that we receive on a daily basis, we are only able to respond to the requests that we are able to fill. Please understand if we are unable to donate or do not respond. 

We strongly recommend enjoying our donuts same day for optimal freshness. Our cake donuts hold up the longest.

There is no predicting how many donuts we will sell in a day. We plan our production days in advance. Our bakers come in at midnight each night to start preparing the donuts for the day. Everything is made fresh daily on site. Some days we sell out earlier than we anticipated while other days we may not sell out at all. We recommend arriving early to guarantee a full selection. 

When and if we do have a line it moves extremely quick. Our customers tell us on average they have waited 10-15 minutes in line. On holidays and weekends you will almost always see a line. During the week is slower so you will have a better chance of no wait time at all. 

We carry Red Barn medium roast coffee available in Hot, Decaf and Cold Brew. Additionally, we carry Atomic Coffee Roasters Nitro, Cold Brew and Decaf Cold Brew in cans.

At this time we mainly accept walk ins. However, we will accommodate pre orders of 3 dozen or more. If you have a special request please email Info@basicbatchdonuts.com to inquire or click the tab that says 'Pre Order' at the top of our website page. We will do our best to try and accommodate. We often offer pre ordering on major holidays. Be sure to check out our social media pages for information regarding that. 

Oh, you must have tried us on a Monday or Tuesday. We are open Wednesday-Sunday until 1pm or until we sell out.

Christina personally answers and manages all inquiries, emails and social media responses. She starts baking every night at midnight so please allow up to 48 hours for a response since she is often working while you are sleeping and vice versa. We are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays so you may not receive a response until Wednesday during our business hours. 

We strongly feel that it would take away from the customer experience. We would have to prioritize the customer in the store before answering any phone calls. Given the amount of messages and emails we receive daily, we can only assume the phone would be ringing constantly while we are helping customers in the store. Nope! Our signature cinnamon buns are completely nut free jam packed with cinnamon and brown sugar and topped with icing.

We have tried out different flavors to determine which ones would be most enjoyed as our “basics.” We like to keep the menu fun and give people different options to choose from so often we will have weekend specials with items such as jam filled donuts and others to choose from. Our doggy donut treats contain flour, powdered sugar, eggs, peanut butter and pumpkin puree. 

We try our best to have as little waste as possible but sometimes it does happen. If we do have leftover product, we donate them to local small businesses, police departments, fire stations, etc. Otherwise, our staff gets to take them home to their friends and family!
