Yes, we do our best to accommodate custom orders such as jumbo donut cakes, birthday donuts and/or other special occasion treats. The more notice we have the more likely we will be able to accommodate special requests. You can email Christina at email@example.com to inquire about your order. Someone will reach out to you via email within 48 hours to confirm. Please check your spam/junk folder if you have not received a confirmation email. We will review all emails during business hours Wednesday - Sunday. If you inquire on a weekend, please note you may not hear back until Wednesday as we are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Currently, we do not carry gluten free donuts. In order to be 100% gluten free it would require us to have a separate fryer and a larger kitchen to ensure there is zero cross contamination. At this time we do not offer vegan donuts or pastries.
You can find all of our jumbo cake donut information on the tab at the top of our page that says "jumbo cakes".
We accept cash, credit, debit, venmo and apple pay.
We can never predict how many donuts we need to make each day. Some days we sell out extremely early while other days we may not sell out at all. If you want to guarantee a full selection than we suggest you arrive first thing when we open.
We make donations to various charities monthly. We receive donation requests more often than you think. We have a donation quota per month that we commit too. Please understand if we are unable to donate or do not respond.
All of our donuts and pastries contain wheat, dairy, eggs, and soy products. Occasionally we use nuts or sesame products in our seasonal flavors but otherwise our products are sesame and nut free. Please make sure to check out our monthly menu if you are concerned with an allergy.
Our donuts are priced at $3.50 each. There is a price break on our dozen and our half dozen boxes. Our half dozen is $19 and our dozen is $38.
We strongly recommend enjoying our donuts same day for optimal freshness. Our cake donuts hold up the longest.
We are sorry you feel that way. We are a very small kitchen with a very small team. Our bakers come in at midnight every night, sometimes even earlier during holidays, and we work until the early morning hours making all of our donuts and pastries from scratch. We start by mixing our doughs. We let them rise. We roll out the doughs by hand and cut each individual donut by hand. We do not have machines that do it for us. We let them rise again. We then fry our donuts and then move on to filling, frosting, piping, decorating and finishing the donuts all by hand. Not to mention when the donuts are finished, we aren’t done for the day. We are already hard at work prepping and getting things ready for the following day. It is a very labor intensive process. In addition to donuts we make pop tarts, cinnamon buns, cookies, fritters and donut holes from scratch every single day. Our prices are listed on our menu as soon as you enter our store. We stand by our prices and believe in the quality of product we are producing daily.
There is no predicting how many donuts we will sell in a day. We plan our production days in advance. Our bakers come in at midnight each night to start preparing the donuts for the day. Everything is made fresh daily on site. Some days we sell out earlier than we anticipated while other days we may not sell out at all. We recommend arriving early to guarantee a full selection.
When and if we do have a line it moves extremely quick. Our customers tell us on average they have waited 15-20 minutes in line. On holidays and weekends you will almost always see a line. During the week is slower so you will have a better chance of no wait time at all.
We carry Red Barn medium roast coffee available in hot, decaf and cold brew. Additionally, we offer Church St. Brewing Nitro cold brew and tea available in cans.
At this time we only accept walk ins. If you have a special request please email Info@basicbatchdonuts.com to inquire. We will do our best to try and accommodate. We often offer pre ordering on major holidays. Be sure to check out our social media pages for information regarding that.
Oh, you must have tried us on a Monday or Tuesday. We are open Wednesday-Sunday until 1pm or until we sell out.
When dealing with allergies, we keep product separate, change out gloves in between handling, and take all the necessary precautions. That being said, we are a small kitchen and we are not a nut free facility. There is always a risk of cross contamination. If you are concerned with an allergy, please let a member of our team know before placing your order.
Christina personally answers and manages all inquiries, emails and social media responses. She starts baking every night at midnight so please allow up to 48 hours for a response since she is often working while you are sleeping and vice versa. We are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays so you may not receive a response until Wednesday during our business hours.
We strongly feel that it would take away from the customer experience. We would have to prioritize the customer in the store before answering any phone calls. Given the amount of messages and emails we receive daily, we can only assume the phone would be ringing constantly while we are helping customers in the store. If you have a question you can kindly email us at Info@basicbatchdonuts.com or shoot us a message on Instagram or Facebook.
Nope! Our signature cinnamon buns are completely nut free jam packed with cinnamon and brown sugar and topped with icing.
All of our flavor shots are unsweetened so it tastes like you brewed the coffee with that flavor bean. We can add cream, sugar or anything else you’d like.
We have tried out different flavors to determine which ones would be most enjoyed as our “basics.” We like to keep the menu fun and give people different options to choose from so often we will have weekend specials with items such as jam filled donuts and others to choose from. If you want to see what our specials are or see our menu I recommend following us on Instagram or Facebook.
Our doggy donut treats contain flour, powdered sugar, eggs, peanut butter and pumpkin puree.
We try our best to have as little waste as possible but sometimes it does happen. If we do have leftover product, we donate them to local small businesses, police departments, fire stations, etc. Otherwise, our staff gets to take them home to their friends and family!
At this time we do not require masks to enter our store. They are completely optional.
